You may have heard me say this before, but I was not a fast starter in my home business career. You won't be seeing my name written up in the Networker's Hall of Fame for Fast, Steady Starter. You might see a frazzled picture of me in the hall marked - miraculous recovery!!!
Here is the thing - almost no one knocks it out of the park to begin with. Most of us have to struggle, fail, feel like an idiot, wonder what's wrong with us, and so on. Does this, by chance, describe how you may have felt before, or even now?
On my team accountability and coaching call yesterday, we were sharing results and it was amazing how many people were experiencing the exact same things - no shows, sign ups who then don't do anything, no one interested, you show up at the person's house and the porch light goes off, etc. Sound familiar?
That's the beauty of a team accountability call or forum is that you can surround yourself with others who are having success, and some, well, not so much yet! And, as you stay engaged, you'll find that we all have up weeks, and we all have down weeks. (Kind of like the stock market of yester-year!) But, with consistency, the scale begins to balance and each month becomes an overall success.
And, darn it - for whatever reason, we all seem to have to journey down that loooong stretch of "figuring it out" first. Just relax, have fun with it, and stick with it and KNOW that this, too, shall pass!
So, bottom line - remember that whatever it is you think you are experiencing that no one else is - you are NOT alone. Start asking a few others who are on the path with you and pretty soon they will be sharing some of their stories of frustration. If you are having struggles - YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT PATH! Just continue on it.
