So often, we go looking outside of ourselves for that "magic bullet" or "secret sauce" that is going to propel us quickly to success in our business. We want the glossy photo version of what Net.work Marketing can offer us including -
The big bucks
A thriving team
Travel
Awards
Security
Making a difference in the lives of others
What else would you like to have your business provide in your life.
The challenge we often face is getting the darn business started, right? We look at that list we have made; we look at the phone and we just can't seem to get our brain to connect with picking it up, dialing those numbers and sharing what you are doing with others.
Does this sound like you? Or someone on your team?
It sure was me back in the beginning! I had a terrible time getting myself to make those calls; an even harder time following up with those who expressed an interest and yet I just KNEW I could do it.
So, if you aren't quite where you want to be in terms of income level; company title; size of your team; or any of that - just LET IT GO! Take your focus off of that and "Get Your Education!"
Go back to University, so to speak. Your own Networking University!
Put your focus on developing your skills. When you become a master at the success skills of our profession, you WILL have the success you desire. And you can repeat it over and over again!
So, what are those skills? Let's go through those -
1. You have to learn how to find people to share your business with on a daily and weekly basis.
2. You have to learn how to EFFECTIVELY invite people to "just take a look, and decide for themselves."
3. You want to learn
to perfect the SIMPLE SYSTEM of actually presenting the business (and take yourself out of SALES mode!)
4. You want to learn and understand the importance and power in follow up and timing! Miss this skill, and you'll miss the biggest bulk of your income.
5.Know how to get a new person started. You can't do the business for them, but you can get them off to a solid start!
6. Get your team engaged and to events. Events build and fuel your team! Promotions happen following events. So, shouldn't you and your team be there?
Let's start with just focusing on the first 3 skills - People to talk to; Effectively Inviting; Presenting through a very simple system.
