Some scoop on answering objections

Published: Sun, 11/16/14

This week I was coaching someone new to
Direct Sales and she was really struggling with
what to say when people look at her business
and then say -

I don't have the money.

Do you ever hear this?

In case you do, I want to give you
some solid Success Language so
you know exactly what to say
so you stay in control of the conversation
and feel confident moving forward.

The bottom line with objections is this-

You really need to know if it's a real OBJECTION
or is it really just a NO, disguised as an
objection.

Most of the time, it's not lack of money.

It's lack of value for your prospect.

They don’t see the value or see themselves
as being able to earn that money back.

Plain and simple.

They have to see it as a solution to their
problem, something that will help them.

Remember this - You are not really in sales,
you are a problem solver.

Here are some ideas of what to say -

First, qualify them and GIVE them an out,
if they are looking for one -

"Let me ask you a question. Do you REALLY
not have the money or are you just saying
you don’t because you are afraid to tell me
no?

Because it’s okay to tell me no. It’s not a
big deal to me. I wanted to offer you something
that is changing my life. And, it may not be
right for you and that’s cool! So, which is it?"

If they seriously balk at the cost, take it away -

"This is probably not for you, then, and that’s
okay. I always know when it’s not right for someone
if they can't see themselves doing what
it takes to earn back $XXX with our simple business
system, and then going on to make a serious income.

Who do you know who does want to make some
money?"

Now, how does that feel for you?

You may want to play with it a little and put
it into your own words, but you get the idea, right?

I've put together an audio training on the top 14
objections and how to respond when you hear them.

How To Confidently Answer Objections

PS - Also, on this week's blog and podcast
I shared some ideas on using stories in
your business.

I shared some ideas from Butch, a sad but
true story and I thank you, Butch, for allowing
me to share this. My hope is that it will inspire

others!

I also shared some ideas based on Randy Gage
and Jordan Adler's stories - top income
earners who...well, let's just say they didn't
start out that way!

Catch the details here!

You'll see the audio play button right at the top.

Have an awesome week!
