I Started This 5 January's Ago
First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR. What fabulous things do you have planned for 2024? I'd love to hear.
Now, about this email. This is a subject that a lot of people like to avoid. I know I sure did for years.
Since 2016, as part of my annual review, I seemed to always write one simple line - Drink Less Alcohol This Year.
Now, to be
clear. I am not an alcoholic. I've never gotten a DUI, or trashed a relationship. I just knew, over time, that alcohol was consuming too much of my time, my thoughts, my energy and my day to day life.
And, I wanted to reroute my relationship with it for a number of reasons.
- For my health. The more I researched it, the more I realized that alcohol was having a negative affect on ,my overall health.
- Productivity - the older I get, the more I
realize that just one or two drinks can really alter my energy and productivity the next day.
- My relationships - I want to live my life fully present and aware - alcohol was impacting that negatively.
Okay, so maybe you can relate just a little and want to explore a Dry January and learn a little more about yourself?
Great. I created a free guide that shares my story, my journey, what I've learned and provides you with some tools to evaluate
your own relationship with alcohol.
